For context, I’m a free bird and talk about anything pretty openly… when the time and place is right, obviously. Never going to randomly bring up inappropriate shit and make people uncomfortable.
Anyways, I went out with my friend and his partner. We were drunk and somehow I ended up talking about my sexcapades. My friend brought it up to me after the fact that he felt uncomfortable with me talking about sex in front of his partner.. basically he insinuated that my moral compass is faulty (I’ve slept with married men and that was one of the things that I mentioned) and that by me saying those things in front of his partner, he looks bad by being associated with me.
I get it..I can totally be more respectful of my friend and respect his wishes by not discussing sex in front of his partner partner… no doubt about that. but am I wrong to feel like my friend is embarrassed of me? And am I wrong feel a little hurt/annoyed by my friend?
Seems like he enjoys my sex stories and lives vicariously through them when it’s just me and him… but he wants to appear holy and pure in front of his boyfriend.
