So this str8 friend from work has invited me to go work out with him on Monday. I told him I would get back with him.

I think he's only invited me to go because he thinks I'll balk at using the locker room afterward. I've read online the gym has a nice men's-only wet area with a steam room, sauna, and hot tub. I'm also pretty sure it has old-school communal showers. Truth is i'm not shy about using locker rooms and i don't use them to cruise, but it would be the first time i see this friend naked.

Am I overthinking this? Is he just inviting me to be friendly, or do you think it has something to do with the fact that I'm gay (and BTW he knows)? He's in his mid-20s and I am turning 30 in a couple of months.
