Do you answer the what's your sexuality questions on job apps? US here

Not here for a discussion about "is it legal?" The questions are present on some job apps so that discussion is neither here nor there IMO. I'm more concerned about what do yall think about if it affects me being in the running for being selected as a candidate.

I'm kind of getting a little frustrated with the job hunt so even if I am solely somehow being used as a diversity hired idgaf. But I am also aware that homophobic recruiters exist in the world even if the company itself isn't (yes sexual orientation is a protected class at least in my state but lbr discrimination still happens, often in a way that is not provable at least when it comes to hiring). What do y'all do?
