When he says he is a Top/Verse Top but really is a verse bottom

Post Body

I recently met a guy who initially identified as a Top, then as a verse Top, but he kept talking about bottoming. It feels like he was trying to pique my interest just so I'd eventually top him. I find it really frustrating when guys mislead like this, especially since I’m a verse bottom.

To me, a verse Top should mean you mostly top but occasionally bottom—not the other way around. If you're bottoming more often or always, that's more like verse or verse bottom. I don’t understand why some people do this just to attract more guys. It's not the first time I've encountered this, and since there are plenty of tops out there, I usually just move on. But it’s only frustrating because for dating I don’t want a guy who is never open to anything besides topping but I also don’t want him to end up being a bottom too or if he sub bottoms, I lose attraction, especially since that’s not something I do often.
