This happened last year. Was at my gym (VASA - great chain gym) and I was in the locker room in the bathroom section and I heard, “Hey Lady, you can’t be in here.” Then a male voice quickly responded, “This is my girlfriend, she’s trans.” Then an, “oh, ok” and then silence.
I went into the changing area and there was a very, VERY passing trans woman and she was with her boyfriend. She was waiting on him as he changed. She was not changing clothes. She was dressed in very nice gym clothes - the tight lower pants that crawl up the crack. She never spoke the entire time and looked bored with it all.
The few other guys in the room just had that look on their face where they weren’t smirking, but just kinda heads down; clearly uncomfortable, but I’m pretty sure they weren’t quite processing that “she” was actually a biological guy and probably had never seen some who clearly looked like a woman.
No one was mad, the BF was chill, and like I said, the trans GF was just bored with the whole thing. She was asian which personally I think made her so passable. She had breasts, so most likely they were implants. Perfect makeup - really pretty.
Anyway, should she have been in there?
Was anyone in the wrong?
Should she have waited outside?
This did happened - this isn’t made up. But it’s always kinda itches at my brain. But so much discussion goes on about trans and I honestly don’t know what the right answer is.
