I often see people complain that all guys want is sex and they can’t find love. The problem is if you give even the slightest indication you’re open to sex, those seeking sex will come after you and will try to make their way into your pants by hook or by crook. My advice is remove any app profile pics that are showing a lot of skin (it immediately draws the horny eye), remove all but the most bare bones info about your sexual preferences, refuse to trade any sexy pics and make it clear you’re not looking for sex.
For me I felt like this cleared out a lot of time-wasters.
Also, a lot of guys on apps can be very confusing: they’ll say “don’t you DARE send me nudes and I am NOT looking for sex” then their profile pic is their ass wearing a thong or a sexy bare torso pic. So if you’re looking for love, make sure you’re not sending mixed messages! Make sure all of your profile and your messaging is consistently telling one story about what you want. (In my experience “looking for mr right but don’t mind mr right now in the meantime” does not work as an approach to finding love, you’ll attract 99% mr right now, where half of them will pretend to be Mr right until they got what they want from you).
That’s just my advice and my experience. Reasonable people may disagree.
