I'm 28 he 29 been in a relationship for around 7 years. I've not been home, been working out of town for about 2 months . When I came home for a visit . (Will be starting a new job back home). The house is a mess and pets are not being taken care of properly. There trash everywhere and just dirty clothes everwhere. The house looks and smells like it's ran by teenagers. I have fought off and on with him the entire time we have lived together (6 yrs) about this. After living in a camper for 2 months alone I really don't want to go back to living in a messy house. I have a house I inherited and have to wait until April to get full rights before I can fix it up and move in. I kinda want to just deal with the mess until then. By dealing with I mean spending all my off time cleaning. And then when I have the opportunity to move into my home tell him he can't come. Any advice about dealing with a messy partner. Or how to go about this. I do not want my grandparents hime to look or feel the way the house we live in does.
