Im new to actually trying to date, how do you do this?
Post Body

Im approaching 40, at one point years ago I was married to a chic and have split custody of 2 daughters. Most recently I was engaged to an awesome MTF trans person but she was significantly younger than I am and at different places in our lives.

I’ve been 100% bisexual from day one and have spent plenty of time in random hotels thanks to ancient world of Craigslist Personals and nowadays DoubleList or Grindr. Hookups are relatively easy. Decent looking and I’m a husky 6’5”.

I’m more out that I’ve been in the past thanks to my recent relationship but you won’t catch me in pride hear 90 percent of friends and family are aware. My employer is aware. All supportive. But my industry in particular is NOT friendly to bi or gay gentlemen at all yet the lesbians get a free pass.

Outside of trying to turn a hookup into LTR or going to a bar (rarely drink) I have no clue what I’m doing but I’m certain I want to give it a shot. I had a really sweet long term fuck buddy for 5 years and he eventually fell for me, but his criminal record made that a no-go due to my work. I wanted to, but I couldn’t.

Any advice? Recommendations? I’m just ready to be happy and not be so alone
