Does anyone else struggle grocery shopping with/for their partner because one of you has a dietary restrictions? . I don’t limit my partner to what he can have because of my dietary restrictions but if I send him to get groceries he will only buy what he wants and can have. We’ve talked about this topic before and his answer is always “I tried to get what you can have” or “I forgot you can’t have that”

We’ve been married 7 years and he still “forgets”. Should I shop for my own food and let him fend for himself or am I making this into a bigger deal than it is and just get over it ?
