Hi, so I'm a 30 yo black guy living in the south who enjoys taking the submissive roll pretty often. I like talking to guys about kinky stuff and I'm very interested in trying most things at least once. Additionally, I don't have a race preference, and will talk to/ mess around with most guys that I match with. I have, however, noted that on at least three separate occasions, I have been asked how I felt about race play, especially with the use of the N-word (all three were er...melanin deficient). I always quickly shut it down, but this last time I got intellectually curious. I asked him why he was into it, and he mentioned the dominance/ ownership aspect. Now I'm rethinking how I feel about dom/sub role-play due to my blackness. I genuinely like the idea of the master/sub relationship, but now it feels like I shouldn't enjoy it because I'm black and it's likely that someone is gonna try to take advantage of the situation.

Other black guys, how do you feel about race play? If you've ever tried it, how did you control the situation?
