Is it reasonable to ask for a refund if my trainer cancelled an appointment and never called back?
Post Body

I started going to the gym about a month ago. During my initial sign up they convinced me to get a personal trainer. I went with 7 sessions because it was the best deal. I wanted a trainer to help make sure I had proper form, to show me around the gym, and for motivation.

Anyway, before the second session he emailed to cancel because he was sick and he said he would call to reschedule when he was back. It happens, but that was two weeks ago and I never heard back.

I've been to the gym 4 or 5 times since then and the last time I asked if he still worked there. Apparently he's been back several days but "maybe hasn't gotten around to calling everyone". They asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment but I said I would call to make one.

I kind of feel like he forgot about me and it's sort of demoralizing as it doesn't seem like he cares that much, and I just hate bad customer service.

It's a pretty large gym so I imagine it's easy to fall through the cracks, so should I just get over it and make another appointment or am I right to feel this way and just ask for a refund?
