Not sure if this is the right place to ask but does anyone have any info on tramadol being a serotonin releasing agent and to what potency in relation to other releasers such as MDMA. I really would like to consume tramadol sparingly as my opioid of choice as I metabolise it into O-DSMT quite well luckily and love the serotonergic effects it brings into the mix.

A few questions I have are:

• Potency of SERT inhibition and release

• Does tramadol cause neurotoxicity at say 300mg like MDMA, will I experience a hangover from said serotonin release as well as will my serotonin be depleted?

• is there a minimum dosing period like MDMA of say 3 months to “replenish serotonin” with tramadol?

And at the end of the day I’m asking can I treat it as any other novel opioid without having to worry about the serotonin aspects of it.
