If I take .5 Xanax daily for 2 months would it build in my bloodstream and affect alcohol consumption 12 hours after taking?

I’m just curious because I’ve been taking xanax, mostly 4 to 5 times a week. It’s been 12 hours since I took .5 and was wondering if it is safe to drink alcohol. I was wondering if taking them frequently builds up in my bloodstream over time and have a potential chance of overdosing. I greatly appreciate any information or response responses to this post. Thank you.
