(Just posted in r/drugs as well, but wanted to also post here so I have a better chance for getting answers) I just have a question and I didn't know where else to post it, I figured you guys would probably know best out of some other subreddits lol.

Is death by heroin overdose truly painless? That's what l've heard. As well as fent OD. I'm not trying to kill myself or anything Imao I'm just deadass curious, I also forgot where I heard this from but I heard it a few times. I know a lot of drug OD's typically cause severe pain and discomfort, so I'm struggling to understand how a Heroin or Fentanyl death/OD would be painless?

[NOTICE] I am safe, I am clean from drugs and have been for months now, I am not suicidal or at risk, etc. I am just simply curious about this because I remember hearing it a few times before and I always wondered if it's true or not.
