How would the hospital treat a massive Benadryl (diphenhydramine) overdose?
Post Body

I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit to ask, but I'm just curious. If someone were to take a massive amount of Benadryl, for example, a gram, how would the hospital treat that? I know seizures and psychosis are common with a Benadryl overdose, but wouldn't something like benzos, which are often used to help with seizures and psychosis, cause respiratory distress if the Benadryl itself wasn't already causing breathing issues?

I do not plan on overdosing on Benadryl. There's no way in fucking hell I would want to experience that or die that way. This is just pure curiosity.
