Advice/instructions on how to use nectar collector? Help pls

Hey everyone, pls see my post history for the gear I've got recently. I need help on how to use it. Specific questions I have are:
- How many seconds to heat up the end of the straw?
- Can I heat the straw with a regular lighter or must I always use a torch?
- Tips on collecting resin in the right form from a glass stem?
- If I've got powder resin can I heat up the silicone container to melt it? Or how would I go about turning it into the right form?
- Any other tips general dos and donts would be very very very much appreciated!
