Hey, I just detoxed from heroin and am not yet back to baseline, I assume. Slight PAWS (anxiety and fatique) present. I usually take adhd medication (elvanse/vyanse 50mg), which I abstained from during detox. My doc asked me if I wanted to resume the elvanse, but I was against it, for the moment being.

Is it reasonable to achive baseline without adhd medication and resume it, when feeling well again? I assume adhd medication shift the axis some way, without me having read any literature regarding that issue.

Also would you advise to stay away from caffeine for some time? Given it indirectly interacts with dopamine as well (adenosine antagonist).

Just my thoughts, or am I overthinking stuff?
