i see it’s not advised to take the two together. i (f19) just got prescribed luvox for ocd, and i also take valium as needed. honestly, the valium isn’t prescribed to me, it’s prescribed to my mother who lets me take them as needed for my panic disorder. all of my doctors know of this, and they don’t really want to prescribe me my own benzodiazepine (i assume because i’m young). i’m prescribed only 5 klonopin (0.5mg) a month as needed, which has been able to last me lately. however, typically i have to take more than just the 5 pills every month. it just varies.

anyways, in the times i am out of klonopin, should i absolutely not take the valium now that i’m starting luvox? i totally forgot to ask my doctor about the two medications interacting. i only take the valium in emergency panic situations, to be clear. the valium is 5mg.
