Before I was on abilify I used to take Xanax on and off both recreationally and medically for panic attacks and it worked great. I stopped taking Xanax completely for 3ish years and eventually started abilify. One night I was feeling a bit anxious and said fuck it and took 2.5mg of Xanax… it didn’t do a single thing to me and I was still anxious hours later. I had no tolerance and it wasn’t delusion of sobriety so what the fuck? Even now whenever I have a panic attack and take a normal dose (0.5mg) it doesn’t help at all like it used to before I started abilify. I’m not taking Xanax often it’s only like once a month. Same thing happened with ambien. Worked before abilify but now doesn’t. Is this a common thing?

tdlr: benzos and ambien don’t work for shit. I have no tolerance. Yet they worked before I started abilify. Is there a connection?
