Questions about Oxycodone Tolerance
Post Body

I had shoulder surgery years ago and due to complications, I was prescribed 10mg Percocet for quite a while and took 2 pills daily just to take the edge off. Needless to say, my tolerance was very high - like I could pop 8 pills and barely feel a buzz. Recently, I stopped taking the pills for almost a month and then refilled my prescription. I expected my tolerance to go down after abstaining for such a long time, but my tolerance seemed to have stayed very high, if not higher than before. Even after not taking it for a month, I was able to take 7 pills and barely feel a thing. It just didn’t seem like it was giving me the euphoric high that it used to. Can someone explain how this is possible? Will my tolerance ever go back down?
