Is there a local Gun or Shooting Club that is not the Dallas gun club?

I've gotten into novice recreational shooting and am looking for a club or group to join. I'm not hard-core, just enjoy shooting from time to time. 'Dallas Gun Club' is CRAZY expensive and out of my league. This is independent of shooting range mememberships which are tied to locations. I was ideally hoping to find people who enjoy meetups to do some shooting and socialize. Thank you
