Hi all. I’m 35F and moved back home to Dallas last year.
I have diagnosed chronic depression and ADHD, and take medications prescribed accordingly.
I’m really anxious over finding a new doctor in town that understands ADHD in women and won’t make me feel like I’m some kind of low life trying to get pills.
I had a wonderful doctor and psychiatrist I was seeing for YEARS while I was living and working in California , so I’m really… overwhelmed at starting all over here in the DFW. I’ve even tapered back on my meds to ration them, but I’m getting to a point where I’m going to need refills soon.
I don’t care if the doctor is a man or woman so long as they understand and support someone like myself in regards to my conditions and medications.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations or advice. Not functioning at my best because I’m rationing meds while knowing I need to find and establish new relationships with a doctor here is really… woof. Intense. So I appreciate any time and help from fellow DFW folks ✌️

Been going to them for 10 years. Never had an issue getting anything I needed.
