Is migration that serious when considering extracting vs saving a tooth?

Post Body

I just got back from the dentist, my second molar from the back on my right side is screwed.

They gave me information detailing the options for replacing the tooth, but the clinic seemed adamant that just extracting it would be the worst option due to how your teeth will migrate. Is this as serious as theyre making it out to be?

I'm 26m i have all my other teeth and no other dental issues

I dont have the money to replace it. My partner just lost his job so I have been paying rent for both of us and I have not been able to save any money for months. Its impossible. So my option is to be in debt for year and years. I also need surgery next year that will be an additional thousands of dollars i will be in more debt.. I can afford just the extraction but if that is going to end up me fucking up the rest of my teeth and costing more money I dont know. I can try and get dental insurance and come back but even then it will be thousands of dollars and I really don't have the money. I dont even have a car because I can't afford it

Would i be better off just extracting it?
