I did a root canal on one tooth a while back. More than 2 years ago. I was still feeling pain after the procedure so the dentist told me to watch it for a couple of months. Some personal stuff happened that made me forget about the procedure for a long time but now I’m ready to redo the procedure or get a crown to cover the up. I read online that when you do a root canal the tooth becomes lifeless and you don’t feel any pain at all again. The thing is I can’t really say I have a tooth pain because I’ve been living with it for more than a year and half without any issues. the root canal tooth still feels weird to me till now. On a pain scale of 0-10 I will see the pain I’m feeling is like a 0.2. The tooth still feels different from the rest but I’m in no pain at all. I even forgot I did a procedure for the past few months. Now I’m just wondering if I can get this crowned of if leaving this tooth can cause issues down the line.
