Looking to get dental bridges with an underbite. Is it a bad idea?

I'm looking to get two dental implants next to my two front teeth which would require braces. I also happen to have a underbite, where only my two front teeth can touch the bottom. Is it a bad idea to get the implant before fixing my underbite?
