Molar chipped while eating bread

I was eating a piece of bread yesterday when all of a sudden I bit into something hard. It turned out to be a piece of my molar that had chipped off. Keep in mind, I couldn’t chew on my right side for a while because of that specific tooth giving me a lot of pain when I put pressure and yesterday when it chipped I no longer have the same wincing pain on that side. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated
