i remember eating chocolate the night before my molar started to hurt. itβs been a few days now and whenever i drink something cold, when it touches that one particular molar, that molar feels really sensitive to the cold temperature and hurts a little bit too. tried flossing to see if anything was lodged there but not really. so i took a photo of my molar and noticed this little black dot and was wondering if perhaps it is a cavity or an early sign of one?
should i seek dental treatment immediately or will this pain go away with proper oral hygiene?
context: 25M with all 4 wisdom teeth removed
