Noticed a white patch on the roof of my mouth

Hey guys, first time making a post. I noticed a white patch on the roof of my mouth a couple of months ago and thought it would go away but it hasn’t. Should I be worried? I brush my teeth at least once every day without fail. I use mouthwash every now and then. And to be honest I haven’t gone to the dentist in years but I do plan on going now when my insurance kicks in, in two months.
