Hello, I went to the dentist for a broken infected molar with caries yesterday. They couldn't anesthesize the tooth for a root canal so I have been sent home with prescription antibiotics and anti-inflammatory to prepare for the next appointment next week. I am now on my 3rd dose of antibiotics ( 2nd day) and the pain has become unbearable. Taking my anti-inflammatory every 8 hours as prescribed does not have any effect on the pain. Is this normal? I am also feeling an ear ache which I guess is also related to the molar ache?
