Hi dentists! I just came from my 6 month checkup and cleaning. Apparently I have a cavity in my upper left wisdom tooth. The dentist says that given the position, drilling and filling is not an option, and recommends having the tooth removed.
It is an erupted wisdom tooth, so the dentists wmsays I have the option of just doing it at his office while numb, or I can go to an oral surgeon for sedation. I've never had a tooth removed, so I have no idea what to expect or which choice to make. What do you all recommend?
