Advice on interesting issue

Post Body

So I went to the dentist for the first time in three years and he discovered something, he saw that my front incisor was slightly discolored (which I hadn't noticed before) did an X-Ray and discovered that its nerve had died, which must have happened from face impact at some point. Now its in there and seems like its going to stay there (thank god). Now also we have a issue with my over bite (my lower teeth rubbing on the back of my incisors) and so I am thinking of having braces. Now an question is if I use braces to move the dead tooth? Or will that 'loosen it' increasing the chance that it might fall out? Has anyone seen an problem like this before? What advice would you give?

tl;dr - What effect will braces have on a dead tooth?
