Dealership said I would get approved through Credit Union, now they're saying I have to sign with them?
Post Body

Hello, I would like some help / advice. I purchased a new 2022 civic from a Honda Dealership. Extended warranty, with around $6700 down. Total loan amount will be $25K. I can use my parents as a co-signer but I wanted to do this all on my own to help my credit out. I'm a newly 10-99 commissioned employee, so I don't have much to show for income. I have shown 3 months of bank statements and 2 years of W-2s, and still was denied. The dealership said I will get approved through Credit Union at 6.2% interest rate for 84 months. Now they are coming back and saying the Credit Union denied me, and I have to sign with the dealership. I plan on going in tomorrow to get this figured out, but I am worried that they are going to fuck me in to some astronomical interest rate through them because "I have no other options". Am I right to think this? What do you think is going to happen? What are my other options? Please help, and TYIA
