New Camry Questions (Ontario, Canada)

Post Body

We were in the market for a hybrid but we know that’s out of the question. We were initially told that new cars are a 6 month to 1 year wait so we tried looking for a used Camry and found one for around 26,000 (LE) with 7% interest. It had about 88,000 km.

The plan was to trade in a 2011 Ford Edge and we were offered 5k making the payments to less than 400 a month.

However, we were checking out new models and the price is nearly the same. When I called the dealership in question of course they said it was sold but said that they will have SE models in the coming weeks. Another dealership said that LE models are discontinued due to low sales which I find hard to believe.

The SE will work for us even though it’s more expensive.

Can anyone confirm the general wait time for new Camrys and the deal with LEs not being continued?

Thanks in advance!
