Need advice on what to do with this car. Out of warranty and mechanical fixes are extremely expensive. e.g. Had to replace the thermometer last year for $600

Based of CarMax and Carvana offers from a few months ago, I finally have $1-2k positive equity. Dashboard is saying A service is due.

Credit is good. FICO is 750 or higher depending on which bureau is used.

Do I keep the car and pay the repairs as they come or trade-in for something that has a warranty?

I don't want any money down because I might be moving soon. I saw the nearly 0% APR deal on the Subaru Crosstrek but nobody has inventory. Maybe something from Carvana in the ~$18k price range and buy an extended warranty?

The payoff is ~$4k. I'm trying to hedge against some unexpected mechanical fix. Thanks.
