Need advice as first time car buyer
Post Body

Hi everyone, first time car buyer here, attempting to buy my first car in the US at the worst possible time. I’m in the market for a regular sedan, reliable and low maintenance such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia and perhaps Subaru.

I looked on marketplace and am seeing some people selling 2016 Nissan Versa SL 4dr Sedan with 60k miles on it, clean title (verified by a website called ‘Bumper’), for $7000-$9000. I haven’t seen the vehicles myself. Just wanted to ask whether this sounds like an okay deal, or a very bad deal that I should not even consider. For less than 10k I would pay cash, otherwise I would look to finance.
