This is my first time buying a car from a dealership, and I’m looking for advice on negotiating. I’m interested in a 2016 Acura RDX listed at $13,900, but the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) value for fair condition is around $9,752. Ideally, I’d like to get the car for around $10,000 before tax.
Do you have any tips for negotiating down to that price? Any general advice for a first-time buyer at a dealership would be great, too. I also hope to find someone knowledgeable about cars to accompany me to the dealership, but I haven’t found anyone yet so I need tips before going there. I'm in CA.
Thanks
