Been floating the idea of getting a new car but know virtually nothing about car values and decent prices.
Had a family member that claims to be good at haggling and getting deals to take a look and bring back an offer.
$1500 down and around $490 a month for a 2025 base model G70 lease. He initially told me what he thought he could get which was dramatically lower, and now says that initial offer was ridiculous and unrealistic; that this is now a good offer.
I also feel like it’s pretty decent but wanted to see any opinions.
Located in Miami, Florida if that adds any useful context/info.
Broski, if you have a comment as to the viability of the deal listed in the initial comment, go for it
Otherwise, idk why you’re acting like I’ve offended you with mentioning a down payment. I can see why you have the title that you do, definitely a bit of an asshole
They listed the down payment as part of their initial thing, before we even requested any kind of monthly payment or talked about price. It’s how they started
That’s at two different big dealerships
Almost all the dealerships we’ve talked to have required a down payment
This one started at like 4K which was ridiculous and we got it down to 1500
Are down payments on leases automatically suspect?
