Lease on behalf of family member
Post Body

Good morning all!

I’m seeking guidance / feedback on the best path forward when leasing a vehicle on behalf of an out of state family member.

Scenario: I’d like to lease a new vehicle for my parents in NV (I’m in VA). I’d like to do all of the legwork and simply have them arrive at the dealership to drive the vehicle home.

Is something like this possible? I imagine that I would have to include one of my parents on the lease agreement (similar to a co-buyer)? I imagine that it would also probably be in my best interest to use a concierge service to not only ensure that i get the best deal, but also to ensure that all of the paperwork is handled correctly. Does this make sense?

Or, can anyone else suggest another avenue that I can pursue to get my folks a new vehicle without me having to fly to NV or have them do any of the work?
