Michigan and GM lease question- GM lease loyalty incentive

How do they check this? GM Financial's records? Or state/dmv? Could I, in theory, change my address temporarily over to a friends address to make them eligible for this incentive? I have a current GM lease and a friend is looking at some dealer lease specials that are deeply discounted. Much of the discount is tied to the GM employee discount(which he has) and the lease loyalty incentive.
