So, I am working with a GM dealer. I am trying to lease a Lyriq and get the 7500 Government incentive.
The plan is for us to buyout the lease immediately.
However, asked about the buyout, the dealer is telling me the buyout is calculated by the residual value and all 'remaining' lease payments.
However, when I add up that number, it's greater than the amount of the MSRP.
So the 7500 our trade in is essentially ate up in fees. I think they simply are misunderstanding how the buyout works. Can any GM dealer help me out here?
