I’m trying to sell my car on the private market versus going through a dealership. I’ve been told by a few friends who are car salesman that I’d get a better deal doing so, the thing is I still owe money on the car, I listed the vehicle higher than it’s worth so I can have people haggle me down but still make a profit, but my question is when selling a car like this, how’s the best way to go about it? Because I won’t be able to pay off the loan until it’s sold, and if I end up selling it, is there a way to safely get the money so my bank doesn’t freeze my account to prove that it was a sale? Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if I’m in the wrong sub please point me in the right direction
