I need some advice. I'm torn between keeping my current classic car, a 1964 Ford Galaxie with a freshly rebuilt 390, and selling to build Jo's J10 from Twister.
I've had the Galaxie for almost 2 years now and it's having the 390 rebuilt now. It's a smooth driving car, looks good, and I know it pretty well. It's perfect for date night or just cruising. There are a few things I'd like to do to it later down the line (a tear drop hood, AC, probably a better auto trans), but it's mostly where I want it.
On the other hand, I really want the J10 from Twister. It'll be a new project where I'll have to paint and modify it, but it's iconic. And unlike my Jurassic Park Explorer/Galaxie, I'm not worried about that one getting dirty or beat up if a bad storm rolls through.
Which one would you do?
My other cars include the previously mentioned Jurassic Park Explorer, a RHD 90s JDM, and a 2004 ram 3500. So technically I've already got a car, a 4x4, and a truck.
