I will be living somewhere mountainous later this year and want to try out the roads, and it just so happens I need to change up my tires soon. The weather in the region gets hot and cold with light snow (Southeastern Tennessee).
I've done some research into things like UTQG ratings and such and it just doesn't click. Tires are confusing. So, any info would be greatly appreciated!
My current tires are Yokohama Geolandar G91 P225/65R17 100H. I would like something more grippy, but also something that doesn't sacrifice wear. Just for the occasional spirited driving down the mountain. I don't necessarily want something that can only be used on the track, just something that's enjoyingly grippy. I could also get 2 sets of tires as well! Please let me know if there's even anything like this as well...
