I'm only aware that the brand has since lost its identity over the process of numerous corporate mergers and acquisitions. Only one model currently for sale (the 300 already on its way out) what separated Chrysler from the other established domestic luxury brands of the time, such as Lincoln, Cadillac or Buick?
Was it simply the more economical price? What was the market appeal, if any, that was remarkable from the competition? As someone who wasn't alive to experience the golden age of American cars, I'm just coming from a place of genuine curiosity.
