so my f20 scat has a toyota 12r engine in it, and i was doing an oil change, drained out the oil went to take the oil filter off and unscrewed the bottom bolt which i thought would unscrew the whole filter. i was wrong. a long bolt going all the way up to the top of the filter came out, i then tried unscrewing the filter but it wouldnt budge. i saw that there was a bracket connecting the filter to the engine so i though i would be able to unbolt that and take the bracket and oil filter full off. but once i unbolted it, the bracket wouldnt come off, i tried prying it off but it wouldnt budge. so i then retightened the bolts and just filled the engine back up. i waited for the oil to go down to bottom before starting up, as soon as i started it, the oil poured out of the slight gap in the oil filter bracket. and i dont know how to fix it. if anyone does please let me know?
