Are Ophthalmologists covered by public health insurance?
Post Body

I sense my eyesight deteriorating more quickly than Iā€™m comfortable with and wanted to get an opinion from an eye doctor. I tried looking through Doctolib but getting mixed signals on whether this visit would be covered by public health insurance or not.

Iā€™m aware that glasses are not covered. Iā€™m mostly curious about the appointment itself.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Also open to suggestions for ophthalmologists!
