Hello Berliners, I reach out to you today to tell you my story. I moved here a year and am half ago, I applied for asylum but quite frankly did not know Much about the asylum procedure or other things. I think I was naive enough to believe that by marrying my German friend it would solve the problem and I would get my residence visa but it didn’t. I am currently a refugee, well not really actually I am sort of as of yesterday waiting to see what the Bamf have to say about my application and see why didn’t reply this year and what Incan do to change my visa or be able to work and study. I come from a privileged background I would say. I can speak at least 3 languages and have reached higher education ( grade 12) but failed it to be honest. Although worked in the art feile and cultural practices for many years. Currently looking for opportunities and chances to find something that would elevate my situation. I am unemployed, haven’t worked since I moved here and sort of very broke. Do not have a work permit and now again I just wait to see where my status is. I lost most valuable things last year like my laptop and camera which helped me get to apply and sort of stay connected with online world. Opportunities and other. What do you think? What would you do? I am honestly just find my self with a lot of free time, no progress unfortuantely :( Please ask any questions you may have.
