Therapists of Reddit. How do you deal with clients who are having problem sharing (even the stuff about their week)?
Post Body

I am having that trouble. It’s not like we haven’t clicked. I have never opened up to anyone in my life or basically talked about my day with anyone. But I will say this, I am starting to open up to her about stuff I have experienced like I have never have before.

I am open to talk about what I mentioned here with her but I like to go to her with suggestions on how should we proceed and kind of explore what might work for me beforehand. I want to do this because she’s an intern and might not have enough experience to deal with clients like me. I know I have option of changing my T and go to the one that has experience but I kind of clicked with her and work with her on my issues.

Any suggestions will help. Thank you.
