Hello; so many have suggested I get a therapy animal or at least an animal with that kind of certification so I feel less alone and anxious. What is the process and rules for such a thing in Minnesota. I once asked a friend who was able to get the paperwork needed super easy even though she admitted it was only because her living situation didn't allow animals and wanted a loophole. (Personally I wasn't a fan of the idea of lying just because she wanted a dog in a space too small for a dog but that's just me).
Do I need a signed letter from my therapist or something? How ironclad is it normally? I am not going to be one of the people who bring an ill-behaved animal wherever I go just because I can. I just want to know the facts and if its even worth bringing up to my therapist.
