Slow drip with large spots from ceiling - main shut off needed?
Post Body

Definitely coming from the bathroom that’s above - plumber can’t make it here for another day or two. The drip isn’t going faster and we have a bucket catching the water.

The question is is it necessary to shut off the water completely? Obviously we’re not using the bathroom at all up there but should the main water for the house be shut off - will that make a difference?
